We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Technical Support Team, working on both Electrolube and AF brands. The successful candidate will ideally have a degree in Chemistry or have a scientific background, possess good communication and organisational skills and be driven and self-motivated, working either individually or as part of a team. The majority of questions come from the electronics industry and therefore any relevant industry experience in electronics manufacturing would be an advantage. The role will involve offering product and application support for the Global Sales Team covering a wide range of technical problems and requirements, often summarising with product suggestions. Management of multiple pieces of information and data, constructing answers for others and putting technical information into an understandable and easily read format are part of the everyday tasks. The role also involves interacting directly with end users and as joint visits to key customers may also be necessary, commercial awareness and customer service knowledge are also essential for this role.
In addition to customer support, there is also an internal technical support function to this role. Such tasks include supporting the production of SDS, CLP compliant labelling and the understanding of various regulations, such as REACH, BPR, etc. Experience in these fields would also be an advantage.
